‘Rosy Fuzz’ is an excellent, upright Asiatic in a lovely antique rose. Moreover, gossamer-silk covered buds and dark stems to 1 mt. make this a delightfully different Lily. A reliable, vigorous grower with long pedicels. Hence it has attractively-spaced stems.
‘Rosy Fuzz’ is an exciting new introduction for our 2019 season, delivering a new choice in colour, texture and style.
This is a selection made & introduced by Neil Jordan & is a Cam Lilies exclusive.
Asiatic Hybrid Liliums are among the easiest Lilies to grow and are quite hardy. Consequently, they offer great colour and style with minimum effort. Moderately acid soil with good drainage is their main need. Organic matter and a good mulch will retain moisture and provide protection from harsh summer sun. This group has no perfume.
Like all Liliums these are deciduous. Consequently they will die back after flowering and re-emerge in spring, completely refreshed. This means that any damage from the past year is past history. Remove old stems when all the green colour has gone. Most importantly, this allows the energy of each plant to be drawn down into the bulb ready for next season.
